Prof. Dr. Nihat Berker
Head of the Program
Countries who employ mechatronics design principles in production have achieved important innovations and success in the past 30 years. As the importance of mechatronics on design and production has been observed, mechatronics education has gained importance.
Mechatronics department was set up in 2008 in our Vocational School of Kadir Has University.
Mechatronics is a philosophy used for a mutual target in mechatronics, mechanical, electronics and computer software engineering.
Mechatronics can be employed in several industries such as assembly lines, industrial robotic arms, smart greenhouses, biomedical machinery, flight guidance and surveillance systems. Our students are given a complete education on machinery automation, robotics, industrial data collection and analysis, SCADA, PLC, electrical power engines and drivers.
Our graduates can be employed as technicians who are fully equipped for setting up, managing and maintanence in automotive industry, industrial automation, mobile robotic systems, home automation. Our education is supported with lab applications to educate qualified mid personnel. Our mission is to educate technicians in accordance with the Vocational Proficiency Institute`s 5th level requirements.
In addition, our graduates can continue to graduate programs after taking the DGS exam:
